Dr. V.S. Harikumar is specializing in the area of Microbial Biotechnology. His current research interests encompass the plant and microbial behavior in a changing environment, Development and function of mycorrhizal symbiosis, plant-soil-microbe interactions involving arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi and plant nutrition and crop productivity particularly in marginal soils through microbial manipulations.
