The department was established as a full-fledged department offering an undergraduate course on 20 July 1981. The department has the singular distinction of having very high success rates in the University examinations. The areas of specialization are: (1)Modern Poetry in Hindi (2) Short Stories in Hindi (3) Ancient Poetry. |
