‘Sapthathi’ celebrated in style
70th Anniversary of SD College was celebrated on 12th June, 2016 in the campus with wholehearted support and participation of its 1000 plus proud alumni. Honorable Minister G. Sudhakaran inaugurated the event. He underscored the importance of SD College and the role played in shaping the history of Higher Education of Alleppey. The magnanimity of SD College Management and its true spirit has made it a role model for all managements, he added. Dr. M. C. Dilip Kumar, VC of Sankara University and Kalamandalam delivered the keynote address. Manager Sri. J. Krishnan, President of SDV Trust Sri. S. Mahadevan, Principal Dr. S. Nataraja Iyer, General Convener Sri. P. Venkatarama Iyer, and Coordinator Dr. R. Unnikrishan delivered speeches.
