Dr Lekshmi S, presently the Head of the department of Physics and research centre joined this college as a guest faculty in the year 2004. On February 14th 2006 appointed as a permanent faculty in the department. She did her schooling in Chinmaya Vidyalaya Chengannur and MMARS Chengannur. Later did her graduation and post-graduation in physics from Christian College Chengannur. She was the first rank holder for Pg in 2003 and had cleared UGC -NET in the same year. She devoted her 20years of experience in this institution not only as an academician but also contributing towards the administrative as well as the co curricular initiatives of the college. She still serves as the Programme officer of National Service Scheme and bagged the National award for best Programme officer and best NSS unit for the year 2021-22. She serves as the IQAC cordinator of the college now.
