Background
The Faculty Development Programme workshop provides an enriching learning experience tailored to equip academic participants with essential cyber-security knowledge for securing cyberspace. Throughout the workshop, attendees will delve into fundamental cyber-security principles and concepts, gaining insights into the importance of cyber-security awareness and its pivotal role in mitigating cyber threats. Interactive sessions will also delve into various career opportunities within the cyber-security domain, empowering participants to envision themselves as significant contributors in the field.
The workshop will be delivered by experts from the Center for Executive Education & Continuing Studies (CEECS) and Kerala Security Audit and Assurance Centre (KSAAC), Digital University Kerala. The Alleppey District Level Workshop is jointly hosted by S.D College Alappuzha under the auspices of the P. G. Department of Zoology & Research Centre and IQAC, at S. D. College.

Purpose and Goals of the Workshop
The “Digital Defenders (Strengthening Security Awareness)” aims to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of cyber-security principles, techniques, and best practices. The workshop aims to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to protect personal and academic digital assets and raise awareness about cyber-security issues and the importance of proactive measures in mitigating cyber threats.

Assessment and Evaluation
A quiz may be conducted online at the end of the workshop, covering the topics discussed. Participants achieving high scores may be awarded certificates of appreciation. Additionally, a feedback form link will also be provided to participants. Based on their responses, attendees will receive a participation certificate.
