Ms. Neetha Prasad joined service in 2013. Her academic qualification is MA , MPhil, NET- JRF. Currently she is pursuing research at Institute of English , University of Kerala. Her areas of interest include Environmental Humanities, Life Narratives, Film Studies , Cultural and Gender Studies. She has completed the Minor Research Project “Empowering the Powerless: A Study of Women characters in the Myths and Legends of Kerala” funded by UGC (2015). She also has journal publications and papers in national and international conferences to her credit and had worked as reviewer for international journals like the Journal of Posthumanism and the Journal of Ecohumanism. She has held academic and administrative positions in her career – as the Coordinator of Literary Club (2015-2018) and as an Internal Mentor of the Walk With the Scholar Programme ( WWS). She coordinated the National Seminar on Memory Studies organized by the Department of English (2020-21). She had also worked as the programme officer of the National Service Scheme ( 2021-2023) Currently she is the Coordinator of the Film Club, S.D. College.
