Dr. Parameswaran P. S. is an Associate Professor in the Post Graduate Department of Chemistry & Research Centre at Sanatana Dharma College, where he has been teaching since June 1996. He holds a Doctoral Degree from Cochin University of Science and Technology, awarded in 2011, and a Postgraduate Degree from Calicut University. Dr. Parameswaran has numerous research publications in both national and international journals.

He has held several significant academic roles, including member in the UG Chemistry Board of Studies at the University of Kerala from 2014 to 2020, and he served as its chairman from December 2021 to December 2023. He was also a member of the PG Chemistry Board of Studies at the University of Kerala from 2020 to 2023. He has been a member of UG Food Technology Board of Studies at the University of Kerala since 2022.      

 Dr. Parameswaran has taken on various administrative and leadership responsibilities throughout his career. He was the Chief Superintendent of University Examinations for the 2016-2017 academic year, NSS Programme Officer from 2009 to 2013, and IQAC Member for the third cycle. He coordinated the IQAC from 2020 to 2023, was the PTA Secretary from 2019 to 2020, and member in the NAAC Steering Committee for the second cycle. Additionally, he has served as WWS Coordinator and Assistant Coordinator of the Purchase Committee. Dr. Parameswaran has been instrumental in initiating and implementing several activities at the college and is an approved Research Guide of the University of Kerala.
