Endowments
Various well-wishers, alumni and retired teaching members of the department have instituted 5 Endowments for acknowledging the academic brilliance of our students. Financially weaker students are also given adequate financial support for continuing their studies by alumni as well present and retired teachers. Sufficient support is given from the department for the students who excel in Sports and Cultural activities.

Dr. K.N. Parameswaran Memorial Endowment Award is given to the student who secures the highest mark in M.Sc. Degree examination in Zoology.
Dr. K.K. Nair Memorial Endowment Award to be given to the topper in M.Sc. Zoology.
Dr. K.S. Padmanabha Iyer Memorial Endowment Award to be given to the topper in B.Sc. Zoology.

Smt. Padmavathy Devi Amma Memorial Endowment Award is given to the student topper in B.Sc. Degree Examination in Zoology.
