SD College has been bestowed with two more Professors, raising the tally to six in its rich pool of human resources. Recently, Dr. Bindu Nair. (Vice Principal) and Dr. Veena J. (HOD, Hindi) were awarded Professorship by the University of Kerala. Today, 15th February, 2024 the College Council honored the new Professors and arranged a special session for the celebrations. Now the college is having six professors in different subjects: Prof. (Dr.) Prema K. H. (The Principal)- Chemistry, Prof. (Dr.) Bindu Nair (Vice-Principal) – English, Prof. (Dr.) Veena J. – Hindi , Prof. (Dr.) C. Dileep – Botany, Prof. (Dr.) Nagendra Prabhu – Zoology, Prof. (Dr.) Prabhakaran Nair – Economics.
