Career Growth and Job Opportunities in Medical Coding
PG Department of Zoology and Research Centre, SD College in association with iREZ Academy Kollam conducted a Career Guidance Programme on “Career Growth and Job Opportunities in Medical Coding” on 16th February 2024 Friday (time 2pm to 3pm, Venue – Smart Classroom, Dept. of Zoology) with Dr. Tarique Hussain (iREZ Academy Kollam) as the Resource person. Smt. Noora A. (Guest Lecturer, Zoology) welcomed the gathering, Prof. (Dr.) G. Nagendra Prabhu (Head, Dept. of Zoology) introduced the Resource Person and talked on the importance of the programme. Dr. Prasanth Pai (Coordinator, Career Guidance and Placement Cell, SD College) spoke on Career and Placement. The Resource Person outlined the importance and opportunities in MEDICAL CODING and explained the syllabus of the certificate course and mode of examination. The programme was noted for its active participation of students with live discussion sessions. The programme ended with Vote of Thanks by Ms. Jameela (MSc Zoology 1st year Student).
