Drillbit plagiarism checker inaugurated

Manager Sri. P. Krishna Kumar inaugurated Drillbit plagiarism checker at SDCollege. Principal Prof. (Dr.) K. H. Prema explained the use of the software. Sri. Ramanad, Management Committee member, IQAC Criteria Coordinators and other Members were present for the oaccaion.

SD College is one of the first colleges to use Drillbit in Kerala in the current academic year (2023-24), adopting the very same year in which UGC approved the software. University Libraries are already getting the software directly from the UGC. As an institution with nine research departments, the college upholds and promotes ‘ethics and honesty’ in research.

Drillbit is an indian initiative in plagarism software market which uses AI and ML technologies to find similarities, manipulations, and text formatting irregularities in research. This is certainly a boon for our researcher community in making their research output plagiarism-free by using Drillbit within the campus . SD College General Library will provide the service for students and researchers.
