Open Defence of the Ph. D. thesis of Mr. Anandhu T.P.

Our PhD student of the Physics Department Mr. Anandhu T. P. successfully defended his thesis on 24th May, 2024 in the Department of Physics, University of Kerala, Kariavattom Campus, Trivandrum. The title of the thesis was ” Conducting Polymer and Nanomaterial -Based Electroactive Materials for High-Performance Supercapacitors”. Dr. Vijayamohanan K. Pillai, Professor & Chair (Chemistry), Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh will act as the chairman of the open defence and the convenor will be Dr. Sreekanth J. Varma, Assistant Professor, Department of Physics, SD College. He was also the Supervising Guide of Mr. Anandhu T.P.

Mr. Anandhu T.P. has published 11 high-impact international peer reviewed articles (a few more to come) , one being a cover page article in an ACS journal, 2 book chapters and has presented his work in many conferences/seminars with two best oral presentation awards . Three major research findings have been published by the Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of India as success stories in all their social media pages and website. He is the first PhD student of the Department to defend the thesis.
