I am Dr. Manoj Nageri, working as Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry, Santana Dharma College, Alappuzha. I am also in charge of Consultant, Go- Organic (A Start up company, mainly producing Virgin coconut oil based products). I did my Ph. D from Centre for Materials for Electronics Technology (University of Calicut), under the Guidance of Dr. V. Kumar. Obtained post graduation in Analytical Chemistry from M. G. University (CMS college, Kotayam). After PG, I worked as a Technical Assistant at IISER, Thiruvanathapuram nearly one and half years. I have about six years of teaching experience and seven years of Research experience . Research Areas of interest include mainly Semiconductors and perovskites, Synthesis of nanomaterials for (photo) Catalytic applications.
1.Morphological and Defect related property variations in semi conductors and perovskites.
2.Synthesis of nanomaterials having different morphology for (photo) Catalytic applications 3.Fabrication of novel heterojunctions for photocatalytic and sensor applications.
4.Band-gap engineering of wide band-gap semiconductor oxides and ferroelectric materials.
5. Fabrication of multi ferroic materials and modifications of wide band gap semiconductors for dilute magnetic semiconductors (DMS) and sensor applications.
